Istina — New Dungeon
Gather your party and challenge Istina! As her HP decreases, the boss uses new abilities, and every character killed by her skills restores her HP. To defeat her, keep a close eye on the boss's effects and react to dangerous attacks in time.
Entry Requirements
To enter the dungeon, you need a party of 5 characters of Lv. 119 or higher. The time limit is 15 minutes.
The dungeon resets every Wednesday at 06:30 server time.
To enter the dungeon, speak to NPC Bellra in Aden.
Boss Mechanics
Passive Skill: HP Recovery
Whenever a character is killed by Istina's abilities, the boss recovers 5% of her HP.
Important Information
Avoid unnecessary damage and watch Istina's defensive effects: losing party members weakens the raid and prolongs the battle.
Battle Phases
The battle is divided into four phases. New threats emerge as Istina's HP decreases.
Phase 1
Reflection Shield
Each attack against Istina while Reflection Shield is active deals damage to the attacking character equal to 90% of their HP.
Death Strike
A frontal cone attack deals damage to the target and nearby characters equal to 70% of their HP.
Also stuns the target for 2 seconds.
Acid Burst
Istina selects a party member and uses an area attack that deals damage equal to 50% of the character's Max HP.
Strategy
- Reflection Shield: stop attacking while the effect is active on the boss.
- Death Strike: avoid grouping up in front of Istina.
- Acid Burst: keep your party members spread out to reduce the number of characters caught in the attack.
Phase 2
Display of Power
When her HP drops to 75% or below, Istina applies a debuff to raid members for 30 seconds:
- Reduces HP by 5% every second.
- Reduces Max Speed by 70.
Debuffs and Strategy
While Display of Power is active:
- Atk. Spd. is reduced by 500.
- Casting Spd. is reduced by 500.
Strategy: be prepared for sustained HP loss and slower attacks and spellcasting.
Phase 3
Frenzy
When her HP drops to 60% or below, Istina uses Frenzy on herself, increasing her offensive stats.
Strategy
Istina's attacks become more dangerous. Pay extra attention to keeping your party alive and restoring HP in time.
Phase 4
Acid Burst
When her HP drops to 50% or below, Istina uses Acid Burst on every party member.
Strategy
Pay close attention to your party members' positioning and keep your HP high before the attack.
